My style using cloud storages

My main working machine is Mac OSX snow leopard. I'm using also android mobile phone, android tablet and linux desktops. The big problem for using claude strage is supports for platform, public policy and size of strage.

Dropbox is one of the famous claud strage. The lient software for Dropbox has good functionality, even if it is free uses. However, Dropbox is weak for strage size. Yes, Dropbox has more than enough functionalities. And we can use dropbox for free. If you want to use larger strage size then you can pay. The size for free users can use 2GB. And you can pay for 50GB or 100GB. The amount of cost is not so big. But, it can make dammages for students life, even if it is small amount of costs.

On another hand, Box.net, N-Drive, SkyDrive and UbuntuDisk (I'm not sure the correct name?) are also good strage services what we can use for free, too.

My private opinion, Box.net is also good cloud service. Box.net can use 50GB for free. And Box.net has good web interface. However, the client for Box.net on mac osx is not good. Before version 3.0.1, the client didn't work on OSX (snowleopard). Now, it works on OSX. However, the client's UI is not user friendly. It is difficult to use. And for the synchronization between cloud strage and local strage, we need to pay every year as dropbox. I can say both of Box.net and Dropbox are good service and it is enough cheep cost for using there good services, if i'm working.... ^^;

SkyDrive is provided by microsoft. Users can use same account with hotmail. It is one of the good thing. But, my private opinion, same as Picasa by google, I don't want to upload my private and important data to there. Because, I'm not sure about the publication policy. I makes many mistake. If i will make mistake to setup the publication policy for my private documents..... However, they are good for uploading the photos. Especially , SkyDrive can be used 25GB of storage. it is more than good for web photo storage. And Google services can be used 1GB for pictures and 1GB another storage for documents. And, SkyDrive may not have client application for MacOSX.

N-Drive can access using WebDAV. For the accessing to use WebDAV, N-Drive is more stable than Box.net (this is before to be released ver. 3.0.2(box.net). we needed to access with webdav)

* actually, I didn't know about this. But, in the internet, there are two different N-Drive with similar service. My meaning is the service provided by NAVER.

This is good for android tablet, too.

Ubuntu one is similar service with Dropbox. We can sync data between cloud and local directory. But, it has weak for platform. They support only for Ubuntu, Android, iOS, and Windows. They don't support to OSX..... With out this point, UbuntuOne is also one of the good choice to use cloud data management.

Like as this, even if we have many cloud account on the ineternet. however, to use them with samething is difficult. ZeroPC can solve it. ZeroPC looks like online OS. The service can transfer the data from one cloud to other cloud. Current version is 2.0. The support cloud is following.

Box.net, Dropbox, Evernote, Facebook, Flickr, Google Docs, Instagram, Picasa and SugarSync

Now, it is not support for UbuntuOne and N-Drive. However, For free account. ZeroPC also have limitation for data transfer. We can transfer 1GB/ month. However, if we use Dropbox for sync with local and claud and to use ZeroPC as bridge then we have some other big claud strage. It is not the most convenient way and sometime we feel lazy about this way. We need to consider something about them. But, it is one way to use multiple claud on many devices.

USB server

I went to working trip at last weekend. In that trip, I could buy an USB server.
USB server is like as converter from USB HDD to NAS. We just need to plug power cable, LAN cable and USB cable. And after small setting up, it will work as NAS (Network attached strage).

I try to use this usb server in my house. I had some point where I though little bit for setting up.
client environment:
MacOSX (Snow leopard)
Ubuntu 11.10

The default network setting up is 192.168.1.245
Some of network uses different network address, so you need to change ip for your computer as fixed address. Then you can access this server from Firefox or chrome.
The server ask the login user name and password for setting up. You dont need to connect direct between your computer and usb-server. You just need to plug to netwrok hub for both of them.

First you need to change the IP address to fix to your LAN environment. If you will use DHCP client, then you need to use an application what is added in CD-ROM. the application can find your USB server on your netwrok by automatically. Then you will be able to know the new address for USB server. The application is in the for OSX directory, You can copy to your mac or linux machine. It is jar file (I forgot the exact name, because I already change the name of jar file....) Yes. it is jar file. you can execute it on any machine if it has java environment. Then you can reaccess to the server.

I turned off the FTP service for security, And I turned on samba access. And I made my private user for accessing samba service.

When you change settings, be careful for saving button, It is too difficult to understand the button for saving due to the interface design problem, if i can understand japanese. I tried more than three time on some of step because I pushed some other save button...... I hate this kind of complex ui......

Well, I tried to use it.
From OSX, the work is fine. I can use it as usual nas. And the transfer speed is base 100. So, it is good.
When I access to ubuntu (classic gnome environment) had bit problem. When I access to this server, the work is fine. And I transefer some small files it fine, too. But, when I sent some complex data structure, the system load becomes to high and stop.......I think it is default file manager or my setting problem. I need to consider more for /etc/fstab

Strange SSID

Yesterday, I backed from working trip. To my house from rail line and bus top, I need to walk for 20 - 30 minuts. In this season, it has strong snow storm. And the road for walker has too much snow as 20- 30 cm. It is too difficult to walk such a distance with laptop and some many things. So, I was picked up by my friend by his car.
After taking dinner, we went to a cafe. And we worked 30-60 minutes with coffee. He said "Oh, here we can use WiFi in this cafe! Because I saw a seal what we can use WiFi here." So, we tried to use WiFi. (we cannot use any network in that. I don't know why....) When that time, I was surprised because of name of SSID. I forget exact name but it was following.
"password"=queryForfreeSPOT(ASM)
Actually, in the cafe, it has another SSID named freeSPOT. First I tried normal "freeSPOT". But it did not work. And he said that the seal said password is password. However, i have no idea that the strange SSID is correct or not. Because in the cafe, I could find some other strange name like assome default name as (001D3FNDSJI)

I was considering something..... At that time, he tried that strange SSID. It could be accessable with that password "password". So, i also tried it, too.
It was also strange network. I cannot access to any site. But the DSN setting was correct. So, I can send ping to my uni. with no response. But I got correct ip address. First time to see this ssid, I thought it is fake or malicious network........

There are many WiFi services and different membership model. So, I don't follow any service of access point. So, I don't know that such kind of SSID is common or not.... but it was strange for me...........

Ubuntu 11.10 :: GNOME

After Ubuntu 11.04, default window manager was changed from gnome to Unity.
In my opinion, Unity is good for using on tablet pc. However, it is difficult to use on desktop or laptop pc.

If you don't want to use Unity desktop as me, then you can use GNOME classic. On default, GNOME classic is not installed. You need to install from command line or package manager. The name of package is "gnome-session-fallback". (I haven't meet the bug, but some bugs are discussed in the Ubuntu forum.) Then, you can choose GNOME classic when you log on. I tried some window mangers, however no window manager is better to use than GNOME classic for me. GNOME classic has two mode named GNOME classic and GNOME classic no effect. With my desktop pc, I could not find any difference. (because i don't use any visual effect ^^;;;)

Well, for customizing the gnome panel, we just needed to dag and drop to the panel for adding some icon to start some application. Or we could use with right click. However, we can not find managing options on the GNOME classic panel even if we try to right click on the panel. One day, I missed to put an icon to the panel. And the icon was as obstacle for my work.
The solution of managing the panel on GNOME classic needs to use "Alt + right click" For finding this thing, I used more than one week.....

Android + Softbank mobile :: SMS and MMS

I'm using Nexus one.
I think you already know about nexus one. Nexus one is one of the android mobile phone developed by Google and HTC. It is not possible to buy nexus one in japan.

I already wrote about japanese 3G signal. Japan has 3 big different phone company. NTT DoCoMo, Softbank mobile (vodaphone), and AU KDDI. DoCoMo and Softbank mobile are using W-CDMA and AU is using CDMA-2000. Many people think that W-CDMA is similar with CDMA-2000. But, it is extension on the GSM. The W-CDMA is little bit different from GSM especially for MMS. The specification of MMS on W-CDMA had little bit different bit from GSM. Android phone cannot access to MMS server by default. So, we needed to compile the android kernel for receiving the MMS on Softbank mobile. Actually, I didn't re-compile the kernel on my phone. Because, it is mobile phone. To re-compiling the kernel for mobile phone has many risks for security and my economy. By such reason, I didn't use MMS on my phone.

2-3 weeks ago, one of my friends who is also using android phone told me that the android market has a application that makes possible to receive not only SMS but also MMS without recompiling the android kernel. It was amazing thing for me. Because, I thought it is impossible to receive the MMS without recompiling the kernel on the W-CDMA. However, I got second time amazing after knowing the mechanism. Softbank mobile made this application independent from the OS. This meaning is that the application has all modules for receiving SMS and MMS, even if the OS has such modules and functionality. It is only my opinion but it is not elegant way to develop the software.

Pocket WiFi + Nexus One

Last a month, I used PocketWiFi with B-Mobile SIM + Google Nexus One with Softbank mobile SIM.

I used this combination for a month because the softbank mobile had problem for 3G data communication due to the wrong parameter written by staff. The communication speed was too slow. So, I try to use B-Mobile for data communication. I wanted to use b-mobile but I didn't want to change the phone plan from softbank. Then, I try to use Pocket WiFi.

The largest merit of using PocketWiFi is that we can use 3G network at most 6 devices at a same time. When we are starbacks, some coffee stand, or some other places we can use 3G network through the wifi.

The speed was enough for web browser. However, for the data communicating through the android application, some of them didn't work. And, the buttery power also had problem. I need to charge the buttery every 1-2 days, even if i didn't use it. And, I had some situation that I wanted to use it however I forgot to bring it with me or to charge it. If it was in the winter, we have many pocket on our wear. However, in the summer, it is difficult to find the space for bringing it.

From the begging, PocketWiFi was designed for using Laptop PC or portable game player. And we can use it also on the mobile phone. However, to use pocketwifi with mobile phone was not convenient.

I already return to use only nexus one.

The difference of price between softbank mobile and b-mobile. The price by b-mobile is little bit cheaper than softbank. But, it has limitation for data communicating speed. But, it was useless for mobile phone.......

Pocket wifi

From today, I try to use pocket wifi. This post is first review for using pocket wifi. Why did i start to use pocket wifi? Usually, i use many devices that have wireless LAN. Ex, nexus one, android tablet, mac laptop, Linux netbook,etc,etc.... i only can use nexus one, when i go out from my room or university. Nexus one is good device for mobile phone. However, it is not enough screen size for working. So, i wanted to use my tablet in outdoor,too. On such timing, softbank mobile 3g network becomes to unstable state. By such situation, i decided to try the pocket wifi with b-mobile network. Because i don't want to change my phone number by this thing. Well, b-mobile is one of the mobile phone service provider using docomo's 3G networks. I bought sim card with a month contract. The good thing is that we can use at most 6devices at same time. Wherever we can use network. But, the buttery life is not so long. Maybe three hours. And, i'm not sure but i think it is slower than softbank mobile. The setting up for initial use was not easy.

Usually, android applications are installed to strage on the android device.

However, the android device has limitation for strage.

So, installed to strage is not happy for user.

This application can be moved android application to SD card.

My Nexus one has limitation for application install area.

And, it is too small for installing many applications.

It is very nice application.

But, it is not possible to move all application to SD card.

This application automatically detect that what application can be moved and make the list.

The possibility is based on a variable that to where can we install it.

So, if you have android shell then you can change the variable for some application.

You will be able to find the way to change the variable by the google search.

Nexus One :: Time synchronization through the network

Clock synchronization
The two-three weeks after earthquake, my nexus one lose more than 10 minutes. Many clocks on my devices what are synchronized through the network are correct time. And, archos 101 also ticked correct time. However, I thought it was due to the earthquake attacked to the tower for radio signal of time sync. 
However, it was not only in Japan.

Japan :: mobile phone

In Japan, it's used w-cdma protocol for mobile phone. W-cdma may be used at only Japan and Korea. Many peaple make image as cdma2000, when you read "cdma". Because, GSM is used for mobile phone as standard protocole in many country. And some countries are using also cdma2000. Between GSM and cdma2000 are not compatible. However, between w-cdma and GSM are compatible. Cdma2000 is also used in Japan. )

Well, i had small trouble about this cdma, when i told about Japanese mobile phone protocole with a professor who came from overseas. He asked me about my carrier on my phone. My phone is softbank mobile. And softbank mobile is using w-cdma protocol. You already know that w-cdma is not widely used protocol. And if you say cdma then it points to cdma2000. He also thought so. And, it made small discussion about that cdma is compatible or not. Actually, i could not explain aboutit well.

I remind about it. And i want to check that how my nexus one know about signal. Then nexus one said that softbank is used. However, it is using GSM. Sure, it didn't seal in Japan. So, it is natural that it don't show as w-cdma.

Now, the protocol is moving to 3.5G or 4G.

SSID in japanese?

Usually, we don't use japanese for setting to computer. Because, japaese needs at least two byte. Usually, many computer systems are designed for one byte. So, to use japanese in the system setting was not common way. If he is usual engineer then he will not set japanese for the setting to SSID. I was not do such a thing.

Today, i read a tweet written by my friend. He wrote that he could see the japanese ssid from his house. I was really suprized when i read it. So, I asked prof. Google about this ssid expression in japanese. So, it is exist.

Now, I had no wireless devces for trying it. But,it is so intersting thing for me.

MacOSX :: Snow leopard :: macport install error

I wanted to install some application to snowleopard using the macport.
However, I saw the error as following thing. The error was by md5.
I found similar error in the bug report.
Finally, I could install the package.
Before install it, I installed "Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 3 Developer Package"

Scala :: multiple traits mix-in

Scala allow the multiple trait mix-in.

On the Java, java also allow the multiple interface implementation. What is the difference between Scala's trait and Java's interface? There are similar thing. We use trait as interface define. But, trait can have it own field and implementation of there defined method. Java's interface cannot it own some values and implementations that the interface defined the methods.

I had a question about trait mix-in. The question is "when some of traits are defined same name of methods and the methods also have some different implements then which method will be active?"

For example,

In such case, trait A and B define the method named x. And both x on each trait have also implementation. When we want to define the class C and D what will be happened? You can see only error when you will compile it. The error meaning is we need override the method x in class C and D... On my 1st idea, scala compiler will chose one of implements by the priority. The really behavior of compiler, this idea was false. We have define the new method with "override".

So, we need to write code as following thing. When we define the class C and D, we need also to define the method x on each class with "override" keyword.

ubuntu 9.04 :: how to disable beep sound

After 9.04, sound configuration has no setting tab for beep sound.
I found some other interface for disable the beep sound.

I memo how to disable it.
We need just one line add to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf.

sudo echo "blacklist pcspkr >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

After doing this command, you needs re-login then your computer will not make noise.

Application :: Mozilla Prism

Mozilla released new application named Prism. It can be used as the local application for web application. It can make the icon onto the application folder and desktop.

However, for me, it looks just a web browser..... It can make shortcut to choice some site from bookmarks. However, our application folder or desktop will get jam.....

Maybe, the merit by the Prism is that we can separate between private informations as user name and password and web browsing on our common life.

Adium :: MSN Messenger :: Mac OSX

Adium is one of the messenger client for MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Jabber.....and some other kind of messenger. It is very useful application for mac osx.

However, it has one problem for data transfer. One of friends told me on messenger. And the friend gave me the photo data. After getting data, the free memory space began to small. And after restarting the adium then more than 800M bite of used memory space was released. I think that the adium keeps the receaveing the data until the application get restart (MAYBE) or.....it has some function for releaseing the receaving data space.

Mac Book :: Apple Remote :: pairing

Many of peoples are using Mac Book. And Some time, we see that some of talkers are using remote controller for presentation.
If we don't use pairing function between apple remote and Mac book then many of Mac book/ Mac book pro will receive that signals. So, we should make pairing for our mac and remote controller.

To make pairing is easy.
You just need to push "menu" and "Next" button at same time inside the 10 cm from Mac Book/ Mac book pro.
Then you will see the chain and Apple remote on your monitor.
Then the pairing will be finished.

Ubuntu:: root password

I could not understand the policy of password for root user when I start to use Ubuntu linux.
I didn't know root password on Ubuntu Linux. Actually, no one know about it...... because it is null.

The policy of root password is that if root has no password then no one can attack it.
However, some one wont to use root as other distribution of linux. You can make password for root on Ubuntu Linux.
But, it makes risks for attacked by malicious user. Be careful to make your root password. If you want to make password for root then you should check your root password is safty or not by some kind of password checking site.

# sudo passwd root
enter password for current user (if your account has authority for using sudo command)
enter new password for root user
enter same password for root user

We can see message in log.log, when protocol send/receive NekoMessage to/from other protocols. However, if some message extends NekoMessage then the send/receive log doesn't print into log. Because, the message is extended class from NekoMessage. The log mechanisms are working as (MAYBE) calling NekoMessage.getSource().

HOW TO PRINT LOG INTO "log.log"

One of the solutions is to call Logger.info().

This meaning is ....

Ubuntu 8.10 Intellistation

I was using Ubuntu 8.04 on Intellistation Z Pro.
This ubuntu was upgraded from Ubuntu 7.04 -> 7.10 -> 8.04.

Last week, I upgraded it to 8.10.
Then I could install it. But it was not working.
I got error before kernel loading.

The error messages are following.

Loading, please wait....
Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
-Boot args (cat /prcc/cmdline)
-Check rootdelay= (did the system wit long enough?)
- Check root=(did the system wait for he right device?)
- Missing module (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
ALERT! /dev/disk/by-uuid/ed...(

16進数の数字列) does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

I sourch some other same problems.
Then, I could find it on Ubuntu forum.
The problem is kernel version.
On defaults, Ubuntu 8.10 supports Kernel 2.6.27.
However, he/she also said that Kernel 2.6.27 is not work on Intellistation Z Pro.
So, he said we have to change grub setting to boot for Kernel 2.6.24.

Well, I already install other Ubuntu then I don't have 2.6.24 kernel.
It was already removed.....
How do I do.....

Actually, I cannot use Ubuntu 8.04.
Because it cannot install to it, too.
(The problem is different,,,,maybe....)

Virtual Memory

My mac laptop got crash by (null) process. Before crash it, I captured it from active monitor.
The process had virtual memory more than 1600000TB.

Where this mac hid such a big storage?????

Player/Stage :: Mac OSX Leopard

This is just memo.
I write memo for Player/stage on Mac OSX Leopard.

At first, we have to install Player/Stage by MacPort.
sudo port install playerstage-stage
sudo port install playerstage-player

Maybe, when you execute the player on your OSX then you will see the error for rgb.txt.

I downloaded version 3.0.1.
However, it didn't work because of version.

Installing fink to Leopard

Today, I install the fink to leopard (Mac OSX 10.5 : MacBook(Intel processor)).
I could not install it before days.... Actually, I don't know what was problems.....

1) To download it from fink project http://www.finkproject.org/.
2) Untar the tar package. I use "fink-0.27.7.tar.gz" .
3) To change the directory to the untered directory.
4) To execute the following command.
./bootstrap /sw
"/sw" is the directory what is the ROOT directory for fink.
Maybe, you can select sudo install.

Finally, we should read the readme file.........
Maybe, I didn't read it.....at before trying.....

Well, today, I find the SkyDrive. It is provided by MS Windows Live. It is free as Messenger. We can use 5 GB disk space. I try to use it. However...... the file uploading interface was so bad. When we want to upload the some file then we cannot chose the folders.

I find a problem about update.
The update system is so smart because we cannot update all version at same time.
Usually, I update just a time when I remind about it.

However, today I try to push update after updating the office.
Then I could see more update packages.
Finally, I update more than 4 times.

It is not convenient to use.....

USB bootable linux(Knoppix)

Knoppix is one kind of Linux distribution that can boot from CD or DVD.
It is useful when the OS get crash.

I set up the new printer on my Ubuntu Linux machine.
I had problem about the password.

The printer management system asked my password before finishing to set-up it. However, the system kicked my password. I suspected it. Then I changed password from command prompt. And try it again. However. the system also kicked my new password.
I ask to prof. google then many of person had same problems. The solution is just easy. We try it with as admin users. However, the system need the user that the user have to have lpadmin groups.
So, you can add your account to /etc/group as lpadmin.

#sudo vi /etc/group
and add your account name to the end of lpadmin
lpadmin:x:109:your_user_name, your_username2(if your pc has more than 2 administrators)

It is one of the streaming server as youtube. Maybe, there movies data got from the youtube or others streaming servers.
The special thing about this server is movies playing. We need to click the movies when we want to watch the movies on the youtube or nicovideo.jp. it is not useful for us. In my images, the internet tv sites are also no action for the tv playing.
We don't need to click or other action for the watching next video on the rimo.tv. It makes more detail categories than the youtube or nicovideo.tv. And we can watch all of the videos that are in the same categories.

Sad mistake

These days, I looked just a source code. The code behavior is heartbeat program with neko. The code could pass the compile however it doesn't work....
Today, i could find the problem point. It was so simple and sad problem. It was from constructor. Neko algorithm class maybe allow just one argument that is NekoProcess. However, I set 2 and 3 arguments. Consider now, it is not work. I have no memory that I made some instance for the algorithm class in my some code. (Actually, I made it at the initializer class. But it was not able to control it. It is not sure I can change that line or not. I will do it later.)

entrance formality

CVS ERROR

Since last April, cvs at my laptop was not working.
I got error message when I run the cvs.
The error message was...

cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot exec /usr/bin/ssh : No such file or directory
cvs [checkout aborted]: received broken pipe signal

Some of site said.... it is one of the cvs bug.
So I thought so.

However, today, I could fined that was wrong for my case.
The problem was environment variables named CVS_RSH.

Actually I don't want to say where was wrong because the problem was......
I feel shy.....

The environment variables had 2bit characters.....

If you got error as above then you should check 2 thing.
1. the ssh path is right?
2. the variables has no strange characters?

GCC for Pocket PC

I bought Pocket PC at yesterday.

Some of friends install CoLinux to PocketPC. However, dual boot machines are not useful. Actually, the Pocket PC is PHS. So, If I install CoLinux to my PHS then I cannot use phone when I am booting Linux. Usually, I use cygwin on my windows pc. So, I find cygwin for PocketPC. When that time, I found gcc for Pocket PC.
The name is CeGCC.

Today, I could understand where do I need to go for my project. (Actuary, it is very later for my plan....)

I discussed with Asociate professor about it. I could understand it,

This 2-3 days, I listend the voice recoder what he said at before discussion. It was so long days for me at his days. From after waiking up to next waiking up, I listened his voice. What is his meaning? But I could not understand his word....

Why this problems happened? Because views are different location between him and me.

Actuary, the problems were just one word what was "meeting". At 1st I thought meeting is to meet with faice to face. But I could not understand what's meaning he want to say.... Yesterday, I went to his office but he has too much working so he said he will give me his time at tomorrow(Today). 2nd day(after waiking up) I find other meaning what is "discussion." "meeting" meaning is discusse who is leader? I consider about it. And I found one solution. But...... the real meaning is...... just "meet(1st one)."

Eventualy, I could make image clearly. I have more few time for staying here. I have to speed up more!

suddenly X11 does not work at OSX

It was not working ,when I wanted to use X11 on the MacOSX.

When I click the X11 icon from /Applications/Utilities.
But it just wake up after that it downs......

After that, I try to start from the terminal(For me, it is iTerm).

It is heavy snow......
The snow steal handle much time when I went back to my house from school.

This 2-3 days, I could not use gas. It was gas maintenance day when I found that I can not use it.

I taught to listen is not so difficult.......I need to study for writing, reading and culture difference between english(?) and Japanese. This difference make my difficult to understand english. GMail Drive

Usualy I use OSX and linux. But just a machine what is in my room is Windows machine. Some weeks ago, I wrote gDisk for OSX. It is just for OSX. So I found any software like gDisk for Windows. So, i found GMail Drive. gDisk is just a software this meaning is when we make waking up it we can use gDisk like as remote drive. But we can use it like as local drive. We can see it like as local drive on the exproler. The name of this drive is GMail Drive on the exproler.
But this apprication(Drive) has one problem. That is I used gDisk from OSX machine. But no data can be found from GMail Drive..... GDisk uses the area what has before sending mail. But maybe this Gmail Drive uses others area or different system. I use it not so much time. So I have no idea what this software can be uploading with big data. gDisk can not upload over than 10 files at same time.

One of my good friends went to back to his country. I sent off him to station.
Usually, sad comes with time lag same as today......
After his bus went out from station it was coming. And it brings snivel and tear. So I walked 2 station with them. From now it never goes out.....
I don't like to say "Good bye." Because the sound is bye for ever when we use it. So it is better to use same as usually for me.

This one and half year, I could study too much thing from him. Actually I wanted to be with him much more time.
And we went to Onsen much time. So after today I will have Onsen problem. For me, this problem is difficult much more than to write program code. To go to onsen just with me is not so fun.

I hope we can meet again at some day not so far.

gDisk 0.6.1

Today, I try to use new gDisk version 0.6.1. Before version, I cannot see what files are on the server side. But current version I could do it. I think it is better than before version and it began to useful for backup software. But it has one problem.... When I uploaded more than 10 files at same time, it was clash down. I checked my machine using top command.

I think gam_server has strange working.
I search about it from google.

Our lab has 2 subnet for the networking. One is Line-1 and another one is Line-2.

Today, we got trouble for printers. There printers are connected with Tcp/Ip. They are in the Line-1 networks.
One of the person who uses Line-2 address asked me the printer trouble what she cannot use it.
So, I checked it.

1. The network is working when that time. Sure I could shout ping to firewall and google.com.
2. All of Line-2 side machines could not use printer (shout printing queue and ping to printer address) but could use the networks.
3. From Line-1 machine we could use there printers.
4. Some time the printers response just a time when we shut ping.
5. Actuary, there printers could not access from others subnet.

IS Center sent mail me.
That problem is happened by networking router. Some time that router block some of mac address. For just this case it happened on just printers. but some time it will happened on other PCs. They are fined some solutions for this problem.

I'm in Osaka, now.
It is so hot.

Yesterday, we turned on the air con before sunset.
But, maybe it was over than 37 degree on the veranda at that time.
So, it could not work enough power.
When my mother wet down out side parts of the air con then she got burned smell....
After that it make cold air.

I think to keep working before sunset from last night will make damage for air con.
So, I turned off it.

I cannot thinking any more.......my sweat is looks like water follow but i am just sitting down on chair and typing a keyboard.
Coming wind is so hot.

Today, I started to design about simulation what has just 1 Robot.

But,I forgot any workings.
1. I have to change a message stile.
Current version: Message has just one Zone Object. When the stat is changed by VW then it will send 2 message. One is stop and another is Start. But I can combine them. Because start have to be called after stop is called. I have no idea that how many times do I need for this changing. I wont to do about it less than 3 hour.

2. I have to make slide for sumer camp.
I will make presentation at next camp. So, I have to make it from 0. Sure, I already have alder one. But, they say few important thing.

Maybe.....My ToDo List has much more work.
But, I cannot fined now.

KeyListener

Broadcast system has the function what is register and unregister.
My system already has register function.
Also unregister, but it unregister function is just be it. This meaning is no class or method call it.

When I want to use nuregister method I need to make keyListener for finalize.
Example, when I want to kill my process I will push any key like as Control+C.
When the implementing this thing we will know one problem what is who have to own this method.
Hmmmmmmm
No one can push any key at the just time when just one method is called.
Some of web site have any information about it.
But, there information is finished inside just 1 or 2 class.
I think there case is just few lear case.

When we want to use Rectangle2D.Double with RMI we will need Serializable Rectangle2D.Double.
Rectangle2D is serialized by sun. <------- java.awt.Rectangle
But java.awt.Rectangle is supported just for Integer Version.

So, I made SerializableRectangle2D like as following code.

extends Rectangle2D.Double
implements Serializable

public SerializableRectangle2D()

public SerializableRectangle2D(double x, double y, double w, double h)

However the getting value is just 0 when I use rmi and get message.
But, no documents was google in japanse.... I lose 3 days.......
Some of web site said i cannot do it using easy way....
And some of site said java 1.6 will be able to be suported it.
This meaning.......it will be able to use serialized Rectangle2D.Double.......

Actuary........I have no way how to make solution for this problem......

When I want to check intersect between 2 square, I use java.awt.geom.

When I want to passing message (Server to Client or Just out put field to File) I have to serialize there field.

1st. import from java.io.Serializable
2nd. implement "Serializable" to all of message Field class.
I can accede just serialized field and just basic field (int, double, float, etc....)

But, this is not all.

Inside of my right eyelid had follicle mite....Since last friday.....
That follicle mite touch my eye.....
This thing made stress to my eye....
The stress for my eye break my health

When i waked up at this morning, this follicle mite was broken.
From that broken place to my following eyelid, it made brad pillar.....
This pillar also push my eye.
And, break my sleeping at earlier morning. ToT
This 3 days, I had more few sleeping than the usual.

When I got phone call from my mom I talked about it to her.
She said I have few vitamin C.
1 week ago, my sister also had follicle mite on her eyelid....

But, after break it, i feel good.
Before waking up at this morning, I had strong headache and also strong stiff neck.
So, I will restart to write code.

When I change code from String to Segment.
Sender program dumped exception.
Using class is RMI.
Exception is : java.io.NotSerializableException

At first, I have to fined why I cannot send messages from sender to all of receiver.
This is not sure, but in my Opinion is following.

String Object has just one field.
However, Segment Object has more than 2 field.
And when I send this object, I have to keep order for there field.
But, This is not sure.
And, I have no idea how to do for this exception.
I will ask to Prof. Google....... ^^;;;;

Today, I could remove the bug that was found at yesterday.
One class check just program state.
And it has 2 method, one is turn on and another is turn off.
2 of there calling was different side........
So, Data submitter cannot fined about before job was already finished.

Today, I will start to study about RMI.

Today, I fined new bag....
I could not see it when I run it with 30 robots and 20 segment.

This thing is made by XCode.
Today, I try to use Debuger on XCode.
This is first experience.
But,I got feeling about that moving was bit strange........
And, I could find from what is problem.
I am finding how to repair it.

That problem is in Checking between request queue and moving list.
For new submitting is no problem.
But, when the request is putted in to request queue, that checking process has any problems......
Maybe......I have to repair it to Open Campus...........
I have no time to combine with ABC............
Maybe that process will make more problems......

When I run my code on laptop this code could not finished in 2 hours.
Today, I changed machine to desktop from laptop.
Then my code was finished less than 10 minutes.
Sure, when i run it on desktop I was killing standard out put.

This thing make my knowing some of my code bugs,
Now, i put assert in my code.
This thing will tell me where is wrong......
Maybe, I think finalized parts has bit strange.....I think I need to change there parts.

Optical Network

I want to use high speed network at also my home. One of the solutions is using optical network.
I apply it to NTT at April.... However......I now can not use it.......ToT
They were calling me about it at this morning. They said I have to wait more than 2 weeks. When I asked him why they need so much time then he was laughing.

When the older days, NTT was government. So, they are continuing there feeling. So there workings are same as government office counter. But, this is the first experience and listening that some of agent make client waiting more than 2 month.....

After getting his phone call, I feel so tired...

When we call to internet provider, connecting them is difficult. because there phone is not enough. But After our contacting them there working is so quickly. I wish I can use just internet Provider without NTT...... This is not good system and law....

This 2,3 days, I wonted to use Xcode on OSX Tiger. But, it was not waking up. Actualy, I sent report for that error from the report log. And, I was joining OSX. So other location has other XCode. The PATH was changed from this version....
I will try it from now. Is this useful...?
