Ubuntu 8.10 Intellistation

I was using Ubuntu 8.04 on Intellistation Z Pro.
This ubuntu was upgraded from Ubuntu 7.04 -> 7.10 -> 8.04.

Last week, I upgraded it to 8.10.
Then I could install it. But it was not working.
I got error before kernel loading.

The error messages are following.

Loading, please wait....
Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
-Boot args (cat /prcc/cmdline)
-Check rootdelay= (did the system wit long enough?)
- Check root=(did the system wait for he right device?)
- Missing module (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
ALERT! /dev/disk/by-uuid/ed...(
16進数の数字列) does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

BusyBox v1.10.2 (Ubuntu 1:1.10.2-1ubuntu6) built-in shell (ash)

I sourch some other same problems.
Then, I could find it on Ubuntu forum.
The problem is kernel version.
On defaults, Ubuntu 8.10 supports Kernel 2.6.27.
However, he/she also said that Kernel 2.6.27 is not work on Intellistation Z Pro.
So, he said we have to change grub setting to boot for Kernel 2.6.24.

Well, I already install other Ubuntu then I don't have 2.6.24 kernel.
It was already removed.....
How do I do.....

Actually, I cannot use Ubuntu 8.04.
Because it cannot install to it, too.
(The problem is different,,,,maybe....)

You should first try to build a bootable CD, for instance with a Knoppix distribution. You can then repair the operating system on the hard-drive.

Finally, I installed Ubuntu 8.04.
But, install disk for Ubuntu 8.04 was not work for installing it.
So, I installed Ubuntu 7.04.
Then, I upgrade it to 7.04 -> 7.10, 8.04.
I didn't upgrade to 8.10.

Because, one of other person in Ubuntu Forum is report also same problem with same machine.

Babahera Ice cream @ Akita, Japan

 Akita city is a capital city at Akita prefecture. Akita city has castles. Sensyu park is just in front of Akita station. Around Akita castle and other main streets, some old woman sell ice creams.  They make instant shop around castle at summer. You can see several shop around it. A special thing is a shape of ice cream like as following photo.    A women makes this shape of ice cream in front of you. This shape is rose flower. Pink color is strawberry flavor taste and yellow one is banana flavor taste. Actually this taste is not as such natural one. In my image, it taste is soda flavor taste. But I did not feel bad when I took it. Actually, basically, I do not like banana taste of foods. But I did not make image of banana when I ate it. So, I can repeat to buy this ice cream.
